03/15/2012 - Horror!

At first glance, you might not think that horror is my favorite movie genre. However, over the years, I have begun to really enjoy horror. Horror is beautiful in its own way. Life isn't always rainbows, lollipops & unicorns. Evil things exist. Its better to accept that fact. Horror can be realistic, or it can be fictional. Personally, I think its quite possible that things exist in this world beyond that from which we can fathom... like a vampire. I'd like to believe a vampire exists as much as I'd like to believe a unicorn exists. I am thankful for horror, for it gives us another broader world of imagination. Without it, we wouldn't get that first shriek in seeing Michael Myers or Jason Voorhees.

Every emotion in life is worth experiencing. Being scared or frightened can be fun. Look within sometime and embrace your darker side. Watch a scary movie with a friend if you need. Enjoy the fun in all the gore & suspense of a horror film!
